U.S. import prices rise 0.2% in September on higher fuel prices; export prices fall 0.2%

U.S. import prices increased 0.2 percent in September, after falling 0.2 percent in August. The price index for U.S. exports decreased 0.2 percent in September following a 0.6- percent drop in August. Import and export prices declined 1.6 percent over the past year.
